In calculating the value added of agriculture sector, the concept of value-added agricultural services are distributed in each subsector (eg veterinary services to the livestock sub-sector, the subsector of services picking coffee plantations).

Calculation Method Output and Value AddedThe approach used in estimating the value added of agriculture sector is through the approach from the point of production. This approach is based on consideration of data availability and price of production for each agricultural commodity. In general, the output value of each commodity obtained from the multiplication of production generated by the producer price of commodity in question. By their very nature, the output is divided into two main types of output and output follow. Were also estimated by the percentage amount of complement (mark-up) obtained from a variety of special surveys. Total output of one sub-sector is the sum of the value of primary output and follow-up of all commodities coupled with its complementary value. Gross Value Added (NTB) is obtained from the sum of a sub-NTB each commodity. NTB reduction in the value obtained from the output of producer prices for all costs between, which in practice usually calculated by multiplying the ratio of the output of certain commodities NTB. For purposes of presentation of the NTB data at constant prices 2000 (2000 = 100), revaluation method used, the method in which the entire production and costs between the base year assessed based on 2000 prices. Especially for livestock sub-sector, calculation of production can not be done directly, but obtained through an equation using three variables, namely: the number of cattle that cut plus the difference in livestock population and the difference between exports and imports of cattle.
